It’s a very happy third birthday for the Adelaide International Buskers Festival, and with 2008 marking the second birthday of the annual Fringe festival, it’s going to be one hell of a party.
Over three days and nights some of the finest street artists on the planet will be in Rymill Park and on Rundle Mall doing what they do best. Jugglers, magicians, acrobats, escapologists, aerialists, comedians and pavement artists will use every space available, from the concrete to the blue sky above, to dazzle and entertain.
The public will again have the opportunity to vote for their favourite Busker with the People’s Choice Award announced during Fringe Family Weekend (Sunday 2 March).
Adelaide Lord Mayor Michael Harbison welcomes the diverse range of colourful artists who add a sense of vibrancy and life to the heart of the City and who will again make the Adelaide International Buskers Festival a huge success.
