Fringe Programs
The Adelaide Fringe accepts registrations across all art forms and when you register your event you will need to nominate which program you wish to be registered under.
Performing Arts and Events Program
The Performing Arts and Events program is traditionally the largest part of the Fringe, and includes but in no way is it limited to:
- Cabaret
- Comedy
- Dance
- Events
- Film and Video
- Music
- Theatre
- Written/Poetry
Visual Arts Program
If you think the Fringe is only about performance and ticketed events - think again. Each year over 100 Visual Arts events are shown during the Adelaide Fringe – or put another way, over a quarter of the entire Fringe program.
The Visual Arts program welcomes solo and group exhibitions, site specific works and installations in every visual art form. The Adelaide Fringe has a history of vibrant experimental art and attracts enormous attention from the public. Artists take responsibility for the sale of artwork and all the exhibition issues including payments with galleries or other venues.
Our Artist Services and Venues Coordinator will work with you to suggest a suitable exhibition space for your exhibition and, if possible, find artists with whom you can collaborate and share a venue.
Should you have any queries about either Fringe Program, please contact the Artist Services team on artists@adelaidefringe.com.au or +61 8 8100 2000.
