Volunteer registrations open Monday November 2, 2015
With shifts on week days, weekends, day and night, and in all sorts of roles, Adelaide Fringe offers a flexible and interesting volunteering opportunity. Even if you only have a little time to give, we have a role for you.
Fringe volunteers are an essential part of this fantastic event, helping to deliver the Fringe Parade, Fringe in the Mall, Street Theatre Festival and other Adelaide Fringe produced projects, events and activities.
Adelaide Fringe volunteers can join one of two teams:
- Parade Volunteer Team members help out for one night only, assisting Adelaide Fringe staff to prepare and run the Adelaide Fringe Parade as it weaves its way through the city streets. Watched by thousands, you will be right in the thick of this spectacular night out – a really memorable experience.
- Festival Volunteer Team members will work alongside the festival team in a wide range of roles from production and design to marketing, hospitality, events and ticketing. Giving anywhere from 25 to 100 hours to the Fringe, these core volunteers are needed both pre-festival (December/January) and/or during the festival (February/March). This is a great opportunity to get industry experience, learn new skills and meet interesting people.
