Volunteer registrations for Fringe 2015 are now open!
Adelaide Fringe simply couldn’t operate without the generous support of its wonderful team of volunteers who work alongside our team to deliver such programs as Opening Night Parade, Fringe in the Mall, Street Theatre Festival and other Adelaide Fringe produced projects and activities.
The level of experience you are looking for entirely depends on the level of commitment you can offer to the Fringe team. There are two options available for volunteers. Core Volunteer Team members will be expected to volunteer anywhere from 50 to 100 hours for the Fringe over the months leading up to and including the four-week festival. Parade Volunteers help Adelaide Fringe staff in the lead up to and during the Adelaide Fringe Parade on the 13th of February, 2014
Core Volunteer registrations have now closed! You can still sign up to be a part of the Parade team below.
Up to 90 floats and participating groups will take to the streets of Adelaide as over 30,000 audience members line the parade route. The parade stars at 8.30pm and concludes at approximately 9.30pm, climaxing with an array of fireworks in Victoria Square. Pre-parade there will be busking displays and other entertainment to get our audience excited and ready for the parade.
Tasks may include:
• Route Marshals
• Disabled Access Marshals
• Lost Children Tent (Volunteer must have Police Clearance to work with children)
