Established and emerging artists from all over the world are invited to explore the amazing opportunities provided by Australia’s biggest arts festival, Adelaide Fringe.

Fringe offers those presenting events at the five-week festival a platform to find new audiences, an arts marketplace to leverage future bookings and a dedicated team of staff to assist with their participation at Fringe.

More than 500 venues registered across South Australia in 2023 offering a space to more than 6000 artists, so registering your venue or event really is a brilliant way to access the vast audiences of Fringe.

Registering an event in Fringe is open to anyone with an idea or concept they want to take to an audience. From a cooking class or lecture, to a standup comedy set or an evening of cabaret, the possibilities are limitless.

After seeing an abundance of excitement around the new ‘Eat & Drink’ genre added in 2023, food and beverage venues are encouraged to make the most of Australia’s biggest arts festival in 2024 by registering events that happen at their venues, or adding an event to the Feb/March calendar to take advantage of Fringe.

When it comes to being a Fringe venue, anyone and everyone can be involved – it doesn’t matter how big or small your venue is, whether you’ve got four walls made from bricks and mortar or a fresh air amphitheatre, or you are building a temporary pop up in an alleyway, a pub, concert hall, library, laundromat or double-decker bus. You can create Fringe magic in whatever shape or form your venue takes on! And the same goes for events, events at Fringe happen in parking garages, footy clubs, swimming pools and parklands. At Fringe, anything goes!

Fringe offers various resources to support those looking to put on events, find venues, market their events and make the most out of their Fringe season, including Fringe’s Honey Pot Program which connects curators, buyers and programmers from around the world with events at Adelaide Fringe. Don’t forget to register to participate in Honey Pot during the event registration process.

Fringe encourages anyone who has been thinking about participating with an event or venue to jump online and register, or reach out to Fringe staff for more information.

The print deadline to have events listed in the iconic Fringe guide closes 18 October 2023. After that date registrations will be listed online only.
