Get in, we’re going to Murray Bridge! You won’t want to miss this one, with a street party full of food trucks and bars, as well as hours of entertainment hosted by award-winning comedian Lori Bell, it’s bound to be a weekend to remember.

Now in its 4th year as part of Fringe on Tour, the Murray Bridge Street Party: ‘Street Theatre on Sixth’ is well and truly a highlight of the Fringe on Tour destinations! This year is going to be no exception to the rest, with 4 hours of jam-packed entertainment on Sixth Street, with food trucks and bars ready to serve you throughout the evening. With the line-up featuring MAMBO, Plastica Fantastica, BIMBO and many more, this street party just keeps getting bigger and better!

Street Theatre on Sixth

Street Theatre on Sixth is a public celebration of the Arts featuring a mix of Adelaide Fringe and local Murraylands based performers. Sixth Street in the heart of Murray Bridge will be closed for a street party style event with performances through the evening and plenty of colour. A key event for Murray Bridge Fringe.

Bettong and Buddies

Bettong and Buddies follows Rufous, a young bettong realising his dream to become a violinist.  On this hilarious journey, he encounters other creatures in the Australian bush, who teach him and the audience, what it means to be a critical member of his ecosystem. 
Bettong and Buddies is full of surprises. Is that a real Owl sitting in that tree? What else might you see?
Each new animal friend Rufous meets on his adventure gives him a gift which, when put together at the end, forms one very special surprise that will strike a chord!
After the show meet some of our unique endangered wildlife and have a pat and a hold.

Mickster's Magic Birthday Party at Murray Bridge

After sell-out shows at previous Adelaide Fringe shows, South Australia’s own, Mickster the Trickster, proves not to be your typical magician.  As a trained actor, he has an eccentric, charismatic stage presence that brings a theatrical sense to the performance.
Mickster's birthday party will entertain the whole family as he involves everyone in the thick of the magic.
Magical party games, stories and lots of surprises for both parents and kids to enjoy. Suitable for ages 1 years to 10 years.

FAB TWO HIT MIX

Troy Harrison has an unique sound and a guitar style of his own. Currently also playing in The Fab Two, a Beatles tribute duo, he is in his element taking on the guitar and vocal work of George Harrison and John Lennon.  A career which has seen him perform in almost every pub, club and festival in Adelaide and thousands of private and corporate functions.

RAViE, singer/producer performing original music with a rock/pop/country/reggae vibe and currently performing in an acoustic trio with guitarist Toni Clark and bassist Shireen Khemlani.  Previously fronted the Reggae band, One Planet and UB4T, and supported Reggae Legends, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest and The Original Wailers in Adelaide.

RURAL STRENGTH

A group exhibition by local artists from Bridge Arts. Inspired art drawn from the inner strength of our rural community, their resilience in adversity, their aspirations for the future and their love for their lands.

SPUR 2022 brings together five diverse artists with strong connections to regional SA, whose practices draw attention to our inherent interconnectedness with the natural world and the complexities of humankind’s influences on our environments

BIMBO

Femininity can be overlooked easily. In an attempt to bring a voice to a minority, 'BIMBO' tells the story of what it’s like being a woman experiencing life through songs of hope, lust, love, anger, and pain. 'BIMBO' explores themes of feminism and female sexuality, what it’s like to be queer and have a sense of dread over not being so called “pure”. This is the collective story of womankind.

Murray Bridge Fringe is hosting more than 16 events during their extended dates this year; running from 25 February to 6 March, this now 9-day regional Fringe hub hosts hit-after-hit of great shows for all ages and a range of audiences.
