Featuring fantastic indigenous performers and internationally renowned acts, Desert Fringe is a remarkable experience for the whole family. This is a FREE family friendly event.

Treat yourself to a brilliant night of entertainment under the stars with your stunning host, Leah Shelton from Polytoxic (QLD) and an array of international and local artists, including the sensational Djuki Mala (NT) from Elcho Island in Arnheim Land.

A special Desert Fringe exclusive featuring internationally acclaimed street theatre legends, Les Dudes, who will wow the whole family with their amazing tricks and quirky humour.

 

7:00pm – 8:00pm                       Djuki Mala Show (The Chooky Dancers)

Direct from Elcho Island, critically acclaimed, Djuki Mala (Djuki meaning Chooky with a Yolngu accent & Mala meaning mob) has toured the world playing to packed houses presenting their infectious blend of dance and physical theatre.

After the Djuki Mala show, bring a rug, grab a bite to eat and enjoy the Sunset Concert with the whole family!
Featuring laidback tunes from Jeremy Whiskey and members of the Iwantja Band. The Djuki Mala dancers will also join the crowd!
