Step by Step

The Adelaide Fringe Event Registration System (FERS) may seem a bit daunting - but that's just because it has a big name! It's been developed by the Fringe, for you the artist, and each Fringe is being improved with your feedback.

By using FERS you can update and change your registration details as many times as you need until the close of registrations! Because you can log in and access your registration information on any screen, Fringe staff are also able to access your registration information, which is quite handy when it comes to giving you the best assistance possible.

Below is a step-by-step run through of how to register with FERS. We have also provided you with an overview of commonly used terms from FERS. This overview will be available in the Artist Resources Section in FERS so you can access it at any time during your registration.

Create a FERS log in

To begin, click the "register your event here" link on the homepage (available after August 1st.. Here you will create a login ID and password that you will need to use each time you access your registration details in FERS. Please make sure you remember your pasword.

1. Presenter

Tell us who is presenting your event - the company, individual or group who is entering into a relationship with the Adelaide Fringe.

2. Production Company

Tell us who is performing or exhibiting. This could be an individual, a company or a group and may also be the same as the Presenter.

Production Company Staff
Provide details of key contacts for your event. We need to know details of a Production Contact, a Publicity Contact and a contact for you in Adelaide. FERS automatically defaults the contact in Adelaide as the Presenter and you are able to provide the other two contacts at a later stage. Additionally we need to know:

  • Who else is involved in your event so we can issue Artist Passes
  • If there are non-residents involved in your event who require assistance with visa(s), and details of this

3. Event

Here we need the details of your event, and whether it is to be registered in the Performing Arts or Visual Arts program. This is where you can download Deposit/Registration Fee Payment forms.

File Upload
Browse your computer and upload one image to display next to your listing on the Fringe website once tickets go on sale. You can also upload your online media kit including media releases, biographies and additional images which will be accessible from our website by accredited members of the media.

4. Season

Let us know if you have found a venue, in which case provide the details, or ask for assistance and provide us with your venue requirements, and we will help you find one!

Venue Assistance
If you request assistance in finding a venue you can either download the venue list or fill in the form outlining your requirements.

5. Sessions

Once your venue is confirmed by the Adelaide Fringe we'll need to know the dates and times of each session of your event or exhibition. Please note, you will need to enter the session details (dates and times) for each session, that is performance or exhibition opening time, in your season.

Ticket Pricing
If you are selling tickets to your event, enter the pricing details. Don't forget to include the FringeTIX booking charge in your ticket price.
