Adelaide Fringe 2011 Artist Registrations are now open, and close at 5pm on Friday 15th October.

If you’re thinking of showcasing your work at Adelaide Fringe, from theatre companies to solo performers to visual artists, you can start by reading Taking Part - our introductory guide to all matters Fringe.
As an open-access festival, Adelaide Fringe accepts registrations across all artforms. To participate, you will need to:
- Register your event through the online Fringe Event Registration Site (FERS)
- Secure a venue
- Pay your registration fee, which includes your listing in the printed Fringe Guide and website.

Benefits of registering your event for Adelaide Fringe include:
- An event listing and image in the Fringe printed Guide (350,000 copies distributed!)
- An event page on the Adelaide Fringe website, www.adelaidefringe.com.au
- Ticket sales (for ticketed events) through FringeTIX - online, through box offices and by phone
- Access to advice and support from Fringe staff, including Artist Services team, Publicity, Marketing
- Option to participate in special events and programs, including the Fringe Awards scheme, Opening Night Parade, and Youth Engagement Program school booking service.

Performing Arts and Events
The Performing Arts and Events program is traditionally the largest part of the Fringe, and includes but in no way is it limited to:
Cabaret - Comedy - Circus - Dance - Events - Film and Video - Music - Puppetry - Theatre - Writing/Poetry
Visual Arts
If you think the Fringe is only about performance and ticketed events - think again. Each year over 100 Visual Arts events are shown during the Adelaide Fringe, including solo and group exhibitions, site specific works and installations in every visual art form. The Adelaide Fringe has a history of vibrant experimental art and attracts enormous attention from the public. Artists take responsibility for the sale of artwork and all the exhibition issues including payments with galleries or other venues.
