Media, News & Blog Media Accreditation

Accreditation applications open soon!

Adelaide Fringe 2015 will offer local, national and international media an invaluable opportunity to produce high quality review content. Our marketing and publicity team has devised an accreditation and ticketing system to streamline the process of gaining access to events during the festival.

Media wishing to gain further information regarding events, artists and shows for Adelaide Fringe 2015 should apply for Fringe Media Accreditation.

Registrations for media accreditation open on Monday 24 November 2014

Please note that accreditation applications are subject to an approval process. You will be contacted if your application is approved and further details will be provided to you about your accreditation.

There are three types of accreditation available:

Review access:

This type of access is for media who will be producing reviews of shows or events. This type of access allows you to apply for complimentary media tickets to shows that you will be reviewing. It opens access to the media section of the Fringe website to download media kits and to retrieve artist details for interviews or extra information. You are given a credential for identification which also offers “plus one” entry to the Fringe Club.

General access:

This type of access is for media who will be covering Adelaide Fringe in a general way rather than reviewing individual events. It’s also suitable for camera crews and photographers who need to be identified as media. It opens access to the media section of the Fringe website to download media kits and to retrieve artist details for interviews or extra information. You are given a credential for identification which also offers “plus one” entry to the Fringe Club.

Online access:

This type of access is for media who only need to access online artist information and news releases. It opens access to the media section of the Fringe website to download media kits and to retrieve artist details for interviews or extra information. It also adds your contact details to news release distribution lists. It’s suitable for online media who may not be in Adelaide to cover the event or in mediums like radio where individuals may only need to do interviews over the phone. No credentials are needed for this type of accreditation.

All accredited media will receive online access to images, biographies, media releases and contact details – all uploaded directly by Fringe artists. You will also receive news releases from Adelaide Fringe publicity team.

Applications close on Friday December 19 2014.
