The theme for this year’s Poster Competition is ‘Experience something new’.
Adelaide Fringe Director Greg Clarke said “at next year’s Fringe we will be encouraging audiences to discover unknown talent and go and experience something new and different”.
“We will be looking for an original poster design that is surreal, illogical, absurd or an expression of absolute nonsense,” Mr Clarke said.
The winning entry will be incorporated into the branding and marketing material for the 2015 Adelaide Fringe.
The winner will receive $2000 and free artist’s registration if they would like to stage an event or art exhibition in next year’s Adelaide Fringe.
The design can be in any medium or art form such as digital, illustration, painting, sculpture or photography but the final entry must be two-dimensional.
Both Australian and international designers and artists are invited to submit a design and entry is free.
The competition opens on Friday, 25 July, and entries must be submitted by Friday, 5 September, at 5pm.

A panel of experts will judge the entries and the winner will be notified by Friday, 12 September, 2014.
The winning entry will be revealed to the public on Friday, 24 October, 2014.
The 2015 Adelaide Fringe will run from 13 February – 15 March.
