A Little Less Conversation 2 – A Little More Less Conversation
Callan is back giving people what they want. MORE DANCING. Last years show was nominated for best comedy and lots of people went so let’s all have a sequel of that type of stuff.
I love Dave Callan…. seriously funny. AND the promo says ” It’s going to be stupid and amazing just like your face”… yep I am there.
The Kransky Sisters – Piece Of Cake
Watch out! The Kransky Sisters are bringing their brand new-baked show to town! From Abba to Pink Floyd and Beyonce to AC/DC, these three eccentric sisters with their eclectic mix of instruments including musical saw, tuba, old reed keyboard, and kitchen pots, have cooked up a very special sweet and sour serving of well known songs gleaned from their old wireless at home.
Well what is not it not to love about these delicious women from Esk!? I had a school camp at Esk in 1989 and I am really grateful that The Kransky Sisters have helped me move on from horrible memories of that town! I love these girls and count Christine and Annie as two of my favourite women … I really looked up to them as great and inspiring local artists when I was finding my feet.
Bogan Bingo – The Last Time

The Gin Club
Over the past ten years, The Gin Club have established themselves as one of Australia’s most exciting bands, both through their studio albums as well as their inimitable live performances. Continually evolving from the traditional folk/country of their self-titled debut, The Gin Club’s seven person songwriting roster has developed a unique and distinctive style.
One of my favourite Aussie bands…. I grew up watching Ben busk in the Queen St Mall and now he and his band mates are making truly beautiful, engaging and transporting music.
Wheatshead Ukelele Collective: It’s Not Me It’s Uke
Uke better believe it!! We’re back! After three sell-out seasons, we’re ready to bash out more of your favourite classic (and not so classic) hits (and not so hits). Eight ukuleles, voluptuous vocals and harmonies, rock distortion and some fat-ass uke bass. You’re gonna wish uke were here!
Well ever since they came and played with me at the Speigeltent with The Captains a few years ago I have had a crush on this band ;-). And The Wheaty is my fave Radelaide pub!
Bel Canto Bowie
Each day, two Italian village girls skip down to the local church to attend choir, but their lives seem meaningless and they pray for something more. God presents to them in the form of a Bowie record.
This makes perfect sense to me – my singing school ethos of Bel Canto mixed with the genius of Bowie. I’m excited!
