Journey together through George Harrison's musical life from the Beatles, his solo years and to his time with the Traveling Wilburys.
George's songs include: Something, Taxman, All Those Years Ago, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Here Comes The Sun, just to name a few.
A moving and emotional experience as we remember George's musical and spiritual life. More stories, other events and characters of the "quiet" Beatle's life. 'the Highlights'- Sensational Sixties Show. The band formed in 1999 with the view of recreating the Look, the Music & the Fun of the Sixties. The Music is played to emulate the sounds of the original hit records with a major focus on vocal harmonies. The popularity of 'the Highlights' has grown immensely. So much so; that what once started out as a club & pub dance band, has evolved into a very entertaining Show Band giving audiences sit down shows in theatres, clubs and cruise ship theatres. This original 5 piece group 'the Highlights' expands up to 11 members and performs very entertaining theatrical/music, story telling shows including 'A Tribute to George Harrison'. This extravaganza using narration and visuals is always popular and sells out most performances. Great theatre show.
