Absolute Dylan - The Aussie Bob Dylan Show
Aussie Bob is back with a brand new Dylan show featuring some of Adelaide’s top musicians in his hand-picked backing band and with an unspoken promise of something special. His charismatic show has enjoyed a highly successful 2016 season wowing crowds around Australia with his spellbinding performances.
Aussie Bob exudes the true essence of Bob Dylan. His incredible interpretations of Bob Dylan classics from early masterpieces including Freewheelin, Blonde on Blonde, and Blood on the Tracks to the Dylan of more recent years; Oh Mercy, Modern Times, Tempest, and more will yet again surprise and delight both young and old at the Adelaide Fringe this year.
Doors open 60 minutes prior to performance.

There are a lot of tribute artists out there but you won’t find many willing to touch Dylan’s work because of its lyrical complexity, unorthodox guitar tunings and unique vocal style. But Aussie Bob actually seems to recreate and channel Dylan’s vibe. He also has a reputation in Australia as a guitar picking harmonica guru!
Since 2010 Aussie Bob has been channelling Dylan's works to packed audiences around Australia. “He sounds more Bob than Bob does,” said one reviewer, “I’m now addicted to Aussie Bob” said another.
Aussie Bob was destined to re-create Dylan’s music back in 1962 when he would fall asleep each night to the sounds of America’s newest singer.
With Bob Dylan being a major musical and literary figure of our time, everyone should have the opportunity to experience the Bob Dylan genre. An Aussie Bob event will remind you that these songs are just as relevant today as the day they were written.
