Jascha’s passion for circus began at Cirkidz Circus School. After ten years of training and performing she formed the now world-renowned acrobatics and physical theatre company, Gravity & Other Myths (GOM) with six other Cirkidz graduates. She has been an integral part of the creative and administration team throughout the presentation of GOM’s works, Freefall and A Simple Space and currently is touring full time with the company. Although she has performed predominantly as part of an ensemble throughout her burgeoning career, she has had experience and success as a solo performer. In 2013 she successfully premiered her solo work, Specimens of Her, at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival. After over twenty years of training, teaching and performing, Jascha now focuses her creative passion and drive as a core member of GOM, pushing the boundaries of new circus through simplicity, honesty and innovation. This will be her first self-curated event.
