Backstage With D & M

Cabaret • Performance

Get set for a unique bird's eye view of all the backstage antics that ensue when two of Hollywood's finest, Doris Day & Marilyn Monroe share the stage & dressing room.

Starting well before the curtain is up, the glitzy performers thrive off their audiences' responses & are most eager to please. Ever the consummate professionals, despite wardrobe malfunctions & choreography mishaps, these vivacious blondes sizzle with saucy dialogue & heartfelt singing. Presented by Break The Ice Entertainment, Backstage With D & M features a medley of show tunes with some surprise numbers.

Dynamic acting duo Rachael Horbelt & Alex Schulze pay homage to the iconic blondes, taking some artistic liberties along the way to present a spellbinding cabaret voyage back to the 50s & beyond. The extraordinary Will Metzer provides fitting flamboyant piano accompaniment, channeling the late Victor Borge. Shimmy up close & personal with Doris & Marilyn aboard this dazzling deep & meaningful journey on & off stage.

Please note: Pre/Post Show 2 or 3 course dinner available in Skyline Restaurant at an additional fee of $49-$59 (except for Sunday 19th Feb 14:00 performance). Bookings essential and can be made online http://www.skylinerestaurant.com.au.
