Hannah

Theatre and Physical Theatre • Performance
World Premiere
"She notices it bubbling at the bottom of her stomach.
It tingles upwards towards the chest pumped from lungs through blood to muscle.
Heart knocks, pupils dilate, legs are jelly.
She tries to speak but her mouth is too dry.
All she can do is stare at him."

Written by Liam Ormsby, Directed by Liam Ormsby and Toby Rice; the team behind 2016's The Storm and 2015's award winning production Antillia. Hannah is a production in the round both in its staging and in its conception. It is the intimate journey on one woman's lethal addiction to another man.

Presented by: Waxing Lyrical Productions

axing Lyrical Productions is an Adelaide-based theatre company, born of actors but dedicated to the widening of audiences unfamiliar with theatre. Our aim is to create and further the development of significant works without compromising the relevance or approachability of their intent. We subscribe to the concept of theatre of the audience, an attitude that realizes the importance of the wider audience; this is an ambition best evidenced by our annual high school tour of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth.
