Hot Mamas
Chrissie & Liz, former burlesque duo, became mums simultaneously and quite unintentionally. While their experiences couldn't be more different, they shared a remarkably similar journey from individual to mother and somewhere in the middle, finding themselves again.
Incorporating dance, comedy, cabaret and storytelling, the former Burlesque Beauties (sold-out Adelaide Fringe show 2010-2013) take a humorous and heartfelt look at a little discussed transition. Hot Mamas wants to show mums they are not alone, and everyone else, what life is really like on the 'other side'.

Former burly duo, besties and dance partners, Chrissie Brown (Hot Sauce Burlesque) & Liz Cahalan (Bey Dance) met over a mutual love of dancing, red lipstick and comedy. Their relationship produced one of Adelaide Fringe's first burlesque revues, Burlesque Beauties, which sold out every show from 2010-2013 with 4-star reviews.
Life sent them in different directions, with Chrissie moving to LA to pursue her burlesque career and Liz starting up her successful dance school Bey Dance.
Then they got pregnant within three months of each other.
Once a relationship based on dance, now cemented supporting each other growing and raising their minis, running their businesses and learning how to balance #mumlife with #otherlife. Hot Mamas was born out of a desire to share their experiences.
