The second is with the rise of the Internet.

Kristen has an extensive background as an award-winning singer and performer, and her versatility has seen her sing everything from Cole Porter to cat food commercials. She claims to know the backing vocals to every Elvis song ever recorded. A published poet, songwriter and columnist, this is Kristen’s first foray into writing for theatre.

For ‘How to be a Modern Woman’, Kristen is joined by Musical Director extraordinaire, Carol Young. Carol’s recent musical highlights include Choir Director for ‘The Events’ with the State Theatre Company as part of the Adelaide Festival, and Musical Director of Elvis Costello’s ‘The Juliette Letters’ in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

Kristen is currently single and spends her time hanging around dog parks, exhibition openings and quiz nights, looking for love in the ‘real’ world.
