"Miles ahead of the rest" -- The Clothesline "5-stars" -- GlamAdelaide Sold out in 2017 and back by popular demand, this all Adelaide-based production sees a complete performance of Miles Davis' classic 1959 album 'Kind of Blue', regarded as the greatest Jazz album in history. This year hear songs from the 1957-1963 period as well as the Kind of Blue material for a fresh show in 2018. Witness this legendary album performed in its entirety by six of SA's leading session musicians in what will be an unforgettable night for jazz lovers and music enthusiasts. Also featured will be other Miles classics such as 'Round Midnight', 'Milestones', 'Porgy and Bess' and 'Someday My Prince will Come'--songs of Miles second golden period with Columbia. Jazz has a home this Fringe at The GC.

Adelaide’s Miles Davis and Jazz fans filled the GC and witnessed what was truly a magical night. As a hardcore Miles Davis fan this show has been a labor of love for all the team and we are thrilled to be putting it on one more time. All band members are huge Miles fans and this show is a true labor of love. The ‘Kind of Blue’ band features SA’s leading jazz session musicians Chris Weber (trumpet), Jason McMahon (sax), Tom Pulford (alto), Shaun Duncan (bass/MD), John McDermott (drums) and Dave McEvoy (piano).
