Amelia Ryan is a multi-award winning Cabaret Artist, Writer, Presenter and Mentor. A Musical Theatre Actress by trade (Victorian College of the Arts), sheswapped ‘Song and Dance’ for ‘Comedy and Cabaret’, when she realized her ability to do a time-step (or ANY step) paled in comparison to her knack for cracking a quip. After co-winning the 2012 Your Theatrics Interantional Cabaret Contest, her critically acclaimed shows A Storm In A D Cup (Best Cabaret: Adelaide Fringe Weely Awards) and Lady Liberty (Best Cabaret Nomination: Fringe World) have traversedthe Australian Cabaret Festival circuit, as well as New York City, London and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, playing to 5 star reveiws and standing ovations. Amelia also mentors for the Adelaide Cabaret Festivals Class of Cabaret highschool programme, and is a sought-after MC, Presenter and Host.
