Leaders & innovators in Australian Hip-hop dance and culture, Elements Collective bring their cast of award winning freestyle & breakdancers to the stage in their highly anticipated new work M.I.N.D.E.D - A hip-hop dance theatre piece exploring way's the mind can create altered perceptions of reality and the effects it has on the body.
Directed by multi-national champion b-girl Leah Tilney and music by Aria award winning artist Ben Ely (Regurgitator), Elements Collective bring us on an emotional journey through movement and character connection.
Using their expertise in world class break-dancing and contemporary theatrics, this show pushes the boundaries of hip-hop theatre with pristine acrobatics, intricate choreography and intense body awareness with an entirely QLD based cast of performers.
The performance takes us inside a mind full of thoughts and mixed emotions. Confronting fear, joy, sadness, ego and frustration head on. The 2017 Adelaide Fringe will be M.I.N.D.E.D's Australian premiere after finishing a successful creative development funded by the Australia Council for the Arts and recently receiving the Adelaide Fringe Artist Fund.
