Ben Knight is a musical comedian whom draws comedic inspiration from his eight years as a primary school teacher. A part time musician, Ben started changing the lyrics to his acoustic ‘singer/songwriter’ songs whilst on a strict beans and tortilla diet and teaching in a small Mayan school in the Guatemalan highlands of Huehuetenango. Returning home with a new ‘set-list’ he moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in comedy and acting. In 2017 Ben sold out his Melbourne International Comedy Festival run and scored a lead character, Scottie Watson, in the popular ABC TV series The Warriors.
