As a stand up comedienne and performer, Lisa LaCelle has worked in venues such as Brisbane’s Sitdown Comedy Club, The Gold Coast Arts Centre, Jupiter’s and Treasury Casinos, as well as a tour of New Zealand. Lisa has also written and performed sets for various corporate clients including Telstra, Flight Centre and Surf Life Saving Australia.
2016 saw the launch of LaCelle's first comedy cabaret, The Really Real Housewife of Surfers Paradise, creating and starring as the lead character, her alter ego Mercedes DeLuca-Jones. The RRHWOSP was performed at the Brisbane Powerhouse as part of the Qld Cabaret Festival earlier this year. In additon to her alter ego MCing various fundraising events, LaCelle is currently playing host of the Little Creatures Live as part of the Brisbane Festival.
