Welcome to the Family is a one woman show that mixes stand-up comedy and theatre to bring to life the eccentric characters of one Italian family. The protagonist, Marie knows if her apartment isn't cleaner than a hospital, Nonna will spot the dust in an instant. Marie knows she has to hide any alcohol before Aunt Grace arrives unless she wants another episode with the police. Then there are all the newspaper articles Uncle Leo gave her that he'll want to know she's read. Marie is a little flustered because she has something to tell the family and - he isn't exactly a Roman Catholic secret.

Elisa is a Sydney based comedienne, actress and writer. Elisa performs stand-up, impro and theatre at venues around Sydney with her unique material about culture, family and relationships. Elisa's background is in theatre were she's been involved in productions of The Ham Funeral, Confusions and the original multicultural play What Are They Doing in There. Elisa creates sketch comedy which can be viewed on Facebook and Instagram @elisacristalloactress.
