With more than 1100 events in the 2016, this year’s Adelaide Fringe program boasts an impressive array of some of the best local and international female performers and art-makers across all genres.

Sleater-Kinney came crashing out of the ’90s Pacific Northwest riot grrrl scene, setting a new bar for punk’s political insight and emotional impact.

ECHOES

Echoes tells the story of two British women, born 175 years apart. One, a schoolgirl jihadi; the other, a Victorian blue-stocking. 

TESSA WATERS OVER THE PROMISES

Tessa Waters (WOMANz) is back with a whole new hour of stupidity. Character, clown and dance collide as she set out to create the best show the world has ever seen.

PENNY ARCADE: LONGING LASTS LONGER

ELEANOR'S STORY

Imagine growing up as an American citizen trapped in Nazi Germany during World War II. Eleanor's autobiography as adapted by her granddaughter into a riveting one-woman show.
