35mm: A Musical Exhibition

South Australia

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, what about a song? Part photographic exhibition, part concert this immersive production allows you explore why we take photographs, what they capture and the stories they leave behind. You will take photos, be in photos and create new stories and find your focus. Can a picture really inspire a song or more than one song? What do you see?

In 35mm, each photo creates a unique song, moments frozen in time; a glimmer of a life unfolding, a glimpse of something happening. A stunning new multimedia musical which explores a ground-breaking new concept in musical theatre... This intricately woven collection of stories told through song re-imagines what the modern musical can be.

Set in the stunning Cathedral Room at the Adelaide Oval, 35mm allows you to view one of the most photographed buildings in Adelaide whilst being in the other. Photo-themed cocktails and a possible dark room also await.
