FringeTIX® tickets

FringeTIX® tickets, vouchers, merchandise and memberships are sold subject to the following terms and conditions:

FringeTIX® is a registered trademark of Adelaide Fringe Inc.

All Adelaide Fringe tickets are sold through FringeTIX® on behalf of the organisation or artists responsible for providing the event and subject to the conditions applicable to that event or for the venue where presented.

Fees

All tickets include a per ticket customer booking fee. This fee is non-refundable.

All transactions made online at www.adelaidefringe.com.au incur a $1.50 Web Transaction Fee. This fee is non-refundable.

Transactions made over the phone or at a box office incur no additional transaction fees.

Exchanges and Refunds

There is no right of refund or exchange on any tickets vouchers or memberships. Even if a mistake has been made by the customer or there has been a change of mind.

Refunds are only permitted if a performance is cancelled, re-scheduled or significantly re-located (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the re-scheduled or re-located event).

If an event is cancelled, no obligation is assumed by Adelaide Fringe Inc. for arranging a substitute event. If the event organiser permits refunds, the customer booking fee included in the advertised ticket price is non-refundable.

Refunds for tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to that credit card.

Tickets purchased by cash, cheque or EFTPOS will be refunded by direct EFT deposit.

Tickets purchased by Fringe Voucher will be refunded back to the original voucher. No cash refunds will be issued for purchases made by voucher.

General Terms and Conditions

If an event is cancelled, no obligation is assumed by Adelaide Fringe Inc. for arranging a substitute event. If the event organiser permits refunds, the customer booking fee included in the advertised ticket price is non-refundable. Refunds for tickets purchased by credit card will be refunded to that credit card. Tickets purchased by cash, cheque or EFTPOS will be refunded by cheque. Tickets purchased by Fringe Vouchers will be refunded back to the original voucher.

The right is reserved by the event organiser to add, withdraw or substitute artists or vary advertised events, ticket prices, audience capacity or seating arrangements and make other variations as necessary.

 The venue’s management reserves the right to refuse admission.

No audio or video recorders or cameras may be taken into the venue or used without permission of the event organiser and venue management by prior arrangement. A breach of this condition may lead to the confiscation of all equipment and removal of the patron from the venue. Mobile phones taken into the venue may not be used for the purpose of recording the performance.

No drugs, weapons, food, glass containers, umbrellas or lasers may be taken into the venue.

Some venues have no alcohol or non-smoking restrictions. Refer to conditions of entry at venue.

The event organiser reserves the right to film, video, record, photograph, broadcast or telecast the event.

FringeTIX® collects your personal information in case of an event cancellation or change. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information FringeTIX® is not responsible for failure to contact you.   

Ticket scalping is illegal. Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium price. Use of tickets in a manner which breaches any of these terms and conditions may attract criminal penalties.

Latecomers

The venues management reserves the right to deny entry to an event if you arrive late. Many shows have a strict no latecomer policy and no refunds will be issued if you are denied entry. Latecomer policies are in place to prevent disruption to the performers and other audience members. Shows will endeavour to commence at the advertised time, please ensure you are at the event in advance of the performance start time.

Please also ensure that you have allowed adequate time to queue for ticket collection if you have not had them posted or collected them in advance.

Lost Tickets

Replacement of lost or stolen tickets is subject to approval from the event organiser.  FringeTIX® reserves the right to not replace general admission tickets. Proof of original purchase must be presented for replacement of tickets to reserved seating events. FringeTIX® reserves the right to charge a fee for any re-issued tickets.

Fringe Memberships

The purchase of a Fringe Membership scheme covers the member until the following 30th September from purchase date. Memberships are non-refundable.

A one-off payment of $19.95 per year is required to become a Fringe Member, this can be purchased online over the phone or at any of the Adelaide Fringe box offices.

Adelaide Fringe reserves the right to make alterations to the Fringe Membership scheme and its benefits from time to time and without prior notice.

The Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer is only available on selected shows. The offer is only      applicable against full priced tickets and cannot be redeemed on Cheap Tuesday or Preview performances.

To access the Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer, members must be logged in and add 2 Full Price tickets to their cart. The discount will automatically be calculated in checkout.

Your Fringe Membership® number is your Booking Reference Number displayed when you purchased your membership (also contained in your confirmation email). You can also find your membership details under the MyMemberships section of your MyFringe account at www.adelaidefringe.com.au

All tickets won through Fringe Membership® giveaway competitions are the responsibility of the event organiser, artist or promoter and are non-refundable or exchangeable. It is not the responsibility of Fringe Membership, if an event is cancelled, to provide a refund or offer a new prize to the winner.

Some shows included in the Fringe Member 25% off ticket offer allocate only a portion of their tickets, so these tickets are limited. It may be possible to still purchase tickets for a show’s performance at full price even though the Fringe Member offer allocation has sold out. All tickets are subject to availability.

Fringe Vouchers

Fringe Vouchers expire on April 14 2018.                          

Vouchers can be redeemed on any Fringe event, merchandise and memberships.

Vouchers will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Please treat your voucher as if it were cash, they cannot be reissued and Adelaide Fringe takes no responsibility if your voucher is misplaced and is then redeemed by another customer.

If a show is cancelled and you are entitled to a refund, your refund will be returned to your voucher. This is a condition of sale of the purchase of your tickets with a voucher.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.

Any unspent value remaining on your voucher after April 14 2018 will be automatically donated to the Adelaide Fringe artist fund and cannot be redeemed after this date.   

Concession Card Holders        

Holders of valid concession cards are eligible for concession price tickets, where applicable. This includes seniors, students and health care card holders.  You may be asked to show your valid concession card when purchasing or collecting your tickets or on entering the venue and may be denied entry should you fail to supply valid ID relating to your concession.

Ratings and Content Warnings

Adelaide Fringe is an open access festival and does not see or curate any of the works prior to the festival. All events are self-rated by the Artists and Events and Adelaide Fringe does not take any responsibility for an incorrect rating, or unsuitability of an event.        

Unless a performance is categorised as a children’s event, show content may not be suitable for all ages.

Please note, some venues may have liquor licensing in place that does not allow under 18s in past a certain time. If unsure, you are advised to contact the venue.              

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the program and its details, however event details, prices and ratings are subject to change wherever necessary and without notice.

Accessibility and Companion Cards

All ticketed Adelaide Fringe events accept the Companion Card. Please call 1300 621 255 to make a booking.

Adelaide Fringe and Live Performance Australia

Adelaide Fringe issues tickets in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice. For a copy of the LPA Ticketing Code for consumers please click HERE.

Payment

If you are unsure if a payment has gone through, please contact Adelaide Fringe by calling 1300 621 255 or by emailing buzz@adelaidefringe.com.au immediately. If payment has been unsuccessful, we can happily help you secure your tickets. We are unable to provide a refund for duplicate bookings, so if you are unsure, it is best to check with us before proceeding on a secondary transaction.

Fringe Merchandise

Complaints or Questions

Adelaide Fringe complies with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice, which governs the purchase and use of tickets to Live Performance events and related matters. Consumer and Industry codes are accessible to the general public at www.liveperformance.com.au. Shipping Information

Shipping information within Australia

Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. Merchandise is sent via Australia Post Parcel Post. Postage and handling fees will be charged at the time of purchase.

Shipping information outside Australia

Adelaide Fringe is unable to post tickets or merchandise internationally. Please select Box Office Collect should you wish to make a purchase from outside Australia, prior to arriving in Adelaide for the Fringe.
