The world is harsh and cruel and even harder without true friends. So why not imagine them? That is exactly what Bert does. He lives in an apartment with three imaginary friends, that could not be more real to him. The wild characters consisting of a cowgirl, a Posh Englishman and a mute - who could possibly want real friends anyway?

Max’s Masters debuted in the 2013 Fringe with their take on David Williamson’s “The Removalists”, on the back of the sell out season the group found themselves a new home at the Bakehouse Theatre where they have performed two more thrilling seasons with Eugene Ionesco’s “The Bald Prima Donna” and Robert Scott’s “According to Rumour”.
This season get ready for Max’s Masters return to the Adelaide fringe with a new and tantalizing show with Channing Cornwall’s “Apartment of the Feign”.
