Desert Dwellers of Namibia
This exhibition showcases the work of photographer Helen Lewis from her first
ever overseas travel adventure. From dry desert landscapes to wonderful
wildlife, the bonus in between was meeting the humble yet proud Namibians.
"I learned much, I loved even more, I am so grateful." Helen is a staff
member of the Women's and Children's Health Network. TeamKids delivers an
Arts in Health program in the Women's and Children's Hospital to improve
people's health and wellbeing. The program aims to make the spaces 'look
better' and the time spent in hospital 'feel better'. The TeamKids Arts in
Health program manages four gallery spaces in the Hospital to provide a
welcome distraction for patients, families and staff. The galleries show
work of patients, staff, local artists and community groups. TeamKids:
(Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation) Gallery A is located in the
Women's and Children's Hospital near Allied Health and Hospital School.
Enter from Kermode Street, North Adelaide.
