Ahead of its follow-up to 2015's "Questions For Men", Sydney-based 7-piece Facemeat is delighted to be involved for the third time in the 2017 edition of the aDELAIDE Fringe Festival. A show specifically prepared and arranged for the Festival, Facemeat - A Rock Opera will feature a spoken word tale of slow-burn entrapment narrated by the band's writer David Sattout interspersed with a whole new suite of music. The hour-long journey takes us through an old family home, and reveals the awful secrets contained within it. Musically the show traverses rock, blues, motown, afrobeat and cha-cha-cha, while the text deals in tones elegiac, wry, reflective and absurd.
