Legendary group VVIP was birthed in the year 2014. A historical merger between the Godfather of Hiplife Reggie Rockstone, Zeal (Hamid Ibrahim) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori) of the group VIP.
Showing the world that they were indeed veterans and with about 2 decades of experience, they almost immediately released their first single, SELFIE which was a hit almost immediately. The track revolutionarised and made known the picture taking mode known as selfie through out the whole country. The video remix featured the Hollywood superstar Idris Elba. Prior to the legendary merger of the 2 formidable forces, VIP (Vision in Progress) revolutionized the genre of Hiplife music with the energetic party vibe they brought to the music scene, and by blending musical influences from highlife, hiphop and traditional African music, they became one of the most innovative musicians of the genre.

The legendary group VVIP was birthed in the first quater of the year 2014. A historical merger between the Godfather of Hiplife Reggie Rockstone and Zeal (Hamid Ibrahim) and Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori) of the group VIP.
Showing the world that they were indeed veterans and with about 2 decades of experience, they almost immediately released their first single, SELFIE which was a hit almost immediately. The track picked up 2 awards at 2014 Mtn4Syte Video awards : Best Group and Best Choreography. At the Vodafone Ghana Music Award in 2015, the group also won the award for Best Group.
Next, the group released 4 singles: OMG, HUSTLE, SELFIE REMIX and SKOLOM all on the same day April 11th 2015. SELFIE REMIX features Hollywood superstar Idris Elba and Phyno of Nigeria whereas SKOLOM features Ghanaian talented rapper and singer Sena Dagadu.
