Koomurri perform east coast culture, corroboree, song, didgeridoo & stories from a variety of clans including Kamilaroi Peoples Yibadhaa Gambuu Dreaming (Red Belly Black Snake), Sea Turtle Dreaming of Torres Straits, Bunya Dreaming of the Gubbi Gubbi People, Mununjali Mibin Dreaming (Wedge Tail Eagle) & Yuin Peoples Umbarra Dreaming (Black Duck) Koomurri demonstrate their love of sharing cultures, revitalise their traditional skin markings, making of their costumes & reinvigorate the crafts of their ancestors.

Koomurri implement these traditions with a mix of traditional and contemporary dance complimented by some of Australia's most exciting Didgeridoo players and our indigenous language song-man.

Koomurri deliver an entertaining, fun packed and interactive cultural show with plenty of tongue in cheek laughs.

2016 winners of the national Aboriginal Dance Rites held at The Sydney Opera House, Koomurri performance troupe boasts some of Australia's world touring aboriginal dancers and performers some of Bangarra fame whom have brought culture back into the lives of the Koomurri youth performers of the team hailing from a multitude of regions and Aboriginal clans expanding the east coastlines from Torres Straits Islands to the southern tips of Victoria and inland to the borderlands of N.S.W. & QLD.
