Infamous is jam packed with jaw-dropping moments… Your hands will be stinging from applauding all night long!

Saturday night’s 6pm show was a sell-out, and it’s clear now as to why. The circus ensemble dazzled the audience for two hours of sexy dance sequences, acrobatics and balancing acts.

Action-packed right from the start, the cast kicked things off by confidently jumping on the ‘Wheel of Death.’ With everyone literally sat on the edges of their seats and gritting their teeth, we watched the performers execute the most incredible stunts. Backflips, double unders and juggling whilst spinning continually on a wheel was a sight that certainly encouraged a lot of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ from the audience. Especially when a fan-favourite and circus staple, the unicycle, made an appearance.

The physical strength of the cast was undeniable. We were treated to a stunning solo by Dante Ashton that included only her and a swing. It was both beautiful and inspiring. Admitting to her Instagram followers back in September that she had very little time to practice the act due to space, you would have never known that the majority of her rehearsals were in fact performed mentally. It’s incredible where a fierce imagination and plenty of self-belief can take you. A flawless, spellbinding sequence that you can tell required years of repetition and practice leading to absolute mastery.

Infamous is made up of a team that displays nothing other than pure excellence. The steamy chemistry that each member had with one another made the show all the more delightful. Infamous is sexy, daring and ready to knock your socks off for two more weeks.

It’s their first time at the Adelaide Fringe and I am certain it will not be their last. I hope to see the return of this raunchy extravaganza for years to come. Infamous really is a must-see show from this year’s Adelaide Fringe!
