WINNERS: BEST MUSIC ADELAIDE FRINGE!

The Idea of North present their annual 'Ballads By Candlelight' concert - now an Adelaide Fringe Institution. This event has sold out the past 7 years, so book early. Surrounded by glorious sounds and twinkling candles in the beautifully historic St. Peter's Cathedral, this concert will inspire and uplift you. After 23 years of performing as a group, Australia's leading vocal group The Idea of North, will warm your heart and feed your soul with gorgeous ballads and of course their usual pinch of comedy.

They've worked with Barry Humphries, Katie Noonan, Guy Sebastian, Kate Ceberano, James Morrison, Marina Prior, Emma Pask, Teddy Tahu-Rhodes, Paulini, Lior, Vince Jones, The Manhattan Transfer, Take Six, Naturally 7, David Campbell, with the SSO, TSO, MSO and many more great musicians.

“Weaving pure magic with just four voices, by the encore you'll forget that's all they use!” (Adelaide Review). “An impeccable standard of musicianship” (Melb Age).

Presented by: Bald Eagles

For the best part of a decade, Adelaide's own Bald Eagles have been delighting audiences with their highly authentic interpretations of Eagles and other Baby Boomers classics, featuring rich layered harmonies and tight musicianship. With the six-piece line-up presenting a unique stage presence and an underlying level of wry humour, a Baldies' show takes enjoyment of your favorite music to a another level!
