North Terrace Linger, Listen and Learn

Music • Acoustic
In Good Company has found a brilliant way to combine singing, quirky historical stories and walking. Come and find out how!
We all know that North Terrace is littered with historical icons, statues and plaques.
Have you ever wondered about the coin to pay the ferryman that's in the War Memorial?
Or considered why those fish are on the Art Gallery gates?
Did the head of the Roma Mitchell's statue really fall off?
And I bet you didn't know that at one time we imported camels from Saudi Arabia.
Come and hear the answers to these questions along with other quirky stories from our expert guide as we wander along North Terrace from King William Street to Elder Hall. Each time we linger the In Good Company acapella group will sing you something amazing.

Presented by: In Good Company

In Good Company choir has been singing together for 5 years. Primarily acapella, this fabulous group prefers to sing songs that don't appear on the repertoire list of most choirs. They would rather take on the challenge of original arrangements specifically written for them by their musical director, Ange Sharp.
A community choir of real people that love to connect with real audiences in the community – In Good Company have performed at the Irish Club, Pt Augusta and Laura Folk Festival to name a few – and were selected to perform in the 2016 Adelaide Festival of Arts in the highly acclaimed production of The Events. Bringing out popular Walking and Singing Tour to the Fringe is really exciting.
