After debuting as a Fringe Artist in the 2016 Adelaide Fringe as Bumbles the Clown and AMAZO the Magician Andrew Ormandy's new persona Third Degree Burnie (TDB) is ready for his world premiere at the 2017 Adelaide Fringe. TDB's unique humor crosses all age groups without being ‘blue’ and has been in development for over 2 years. Third Degree Burnie is aimed at the cabaret/event/gala space in the entertainment market as Andrew believes that this area is now looking for a refreshing Aussie comedy battler. Third Degree Burnie thinks he is a very skilled fire-eater/magician when in fact he is clumsy! The act is aimed at audience participation with ‘assistants’ being brought up on stage for their moment of fame (or is that flame!). TDB performs ‘death defying’ (in his mind!) fire-eating, holding flames on fingers/tongue/nose as well as a slick performance of magic and illusions that will have the audience spellbound while also laughing at his perceived ability!
