Honey Pot is designed to forge relationships between participating Fringe artists and delegates. Now in its 10th year, the program’s prime objective is to create opportunities for works to have a life beyond the festival. This may be in the shape of a national or international tour; a collaboration or commission; a residency or development of a new or existing project; or simply the beginning of a beautiful (and fruitful) friendship.
In 2016, Honey Pot hosted 136 delegates – leading programmers and producers from both Australia and overseas – during the Adelaide Fringe season. The 2016 Honey Pot program has already resulted in over 46 shows being picked up by national and international festivals and producers, with 39 works also in discussion for possible presentation.

Honey Pot Results
The number of shows that have gone on to tour Australia and the world as a direct result of the Honey Pot program continues to grow year after year, with 2016 seeing the greatest results yet. The number of shows in discussion with presenters, producers and programmers as a result of artists being able to pitch their work at the Honey Pot Hive sessions also continues to increase.
