Adelaide Fringe is proud to announce a brand new YEP! Program Partner for the 2016 Adelaide Fringe - University Senior College!
University Senior College is an academic senior school for year 11 and 12 students based on the grounds of the University of Adelaide. This will be the first time a high school has partnered with the Adelaide Fringe, allowing USC students (and staff) to participate in select festival events.

he 2016 Adelaide Fringe program features more than 1100 events – a new record. More than 5000 artists will take part in 228 music events, 24 interactive events, 112 cabaret shows, 35 circus and physical theatre shows, 305 comedy events, 12 magic events, 32 dance shows, nine film and digital events, 151 theatre productions, 111 art and design exhibitions, 58 children’s events and 45 special events. Magic is a new genre in the Fringe for 2016, as is the interactive genre.

Fringe 2016 will offer local, national and international media an invaluable opportunity to produce high quality review content. Our marketing and publicity team has devised an accreditation and ticketing system to streamline the process of gaining access to events during the festival.

World-renowned British comic and novelist Julian Clary has been announced as the 2016 Adelaide Fringe Ambassador.
In 2016, the Adelaide Fringe program for young people, YEP! will return. YEP! provides an amazing opportunity for young people to experience the Adelaide Fringe, to immerse themselves in the festival and to engage in a wide range of art forms.
